Getting started
What is ARM Business Management Software?
A browser-based business workspace for CRM contacts, tasks, jobs, quotes, calendars, receipts, stock, documents, users and reporting.
Can I start for free?
Yes. Starter includes essential CRM, contacts, tasks, notes and CSV importing for one workspace user.
What should I set up first?
Add branding and business details, create or import contacts, make one job, test a quotation and then invite users with the lowest suitable access.
Can I use ARM BMS on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The dashboard is responsive, receipt and job evidence uploads can use a mobile camera, and the navigation adapts to smaller screens.
Jobs, quotes and files
Can a new job be added to the calendar?
Yes. After saving a job, ARM BMS offers to create a linked calendar event using the job’s dates, client, address and assignment.
Can multiple people be assigned to one job?
Yes. Assign multiple workspace users, employees, trades or subcontractors. Their notes, photos, alterations and completion activity remain linked to the job.
How does a customer accept a quote?
Send the secure customer link. The customer reviews the branded quotation and supporting files, enters their name and email, confirms the terms and accepts online. Enabled administrators are then notified.
Will uploaded files survive a redeployment?
Yes. Customer files are kept in persistent ARM BMS private storage outside the replaceable application deployment, while legacy files remain readable during migration.
Users, security and data
What is the difference between Workspace Users and Staff?
Workspace Users can sign in. Staff records can preserve employment and job history without necessarily granting software access.
What do the access levels mean?
Administrators control the workspace and confidential commercial information; Managers operate selected modules; General Users work in selected modules; Viewers are read-only.
What happens if I leave ARM BMS open?
ARM BMS warns you shortly before the configured inactivity period and signs you out automatically unless you choose to stay signed in.
Is two-factor authentication available?
Yes. Authenticator-app 2FA uses a current one-time code and blocks reuse of a previously accepted time window.
Can I export my organisation’s data?
Administrators can download their organisation’s customer data and uploads. Service-level operational records, software code and platform credentials are excluded.
Are customer workspaces separated?
Yes. Every database query, upload and permission check is scoped to the signed-in organisation and workspace. Private ARM BMS service controls are not exposed to customer accounts.
Plans, integrations and referrals
Does choosing a paid plan unlock it immediately?
No. Paid access activates only after a verified payment or authorised ARM BMS account approval.
How much do annual plans save?
Current introductory annual pricing saves approximately 20% compared with twelve monthly payments.
Can ARM BMS connect to WhatsApp, email and external calendars?
Yes, with separately configured provider accounts. Calendar feeds support compatible Apple, Google and Microsoft subscription workflows; messaging delivery requires valid workspace provider credentials.
How does referral credit work?
An administrator shares their unique link. After the referred business completes their first eligible paid subscription, £5, $5 or €5 credit is recorded for a future applicable bill, subject to fair-use terms.
